The Glory of it All

Extending far beyond the conception of man, there exists the depth of our Creator‘s love. As our thoughts tum inward, we see only the inadequacies of the human heart, and we covet the sacrificial, unselfish love which is so completely demonstrated by the birth of our Savior. As we look into the manger once again, we feel a sense of awe and adoration for the Savior whose Gospel reaches out and touches the hearts of millions who are called to bow before a God Who has given to His people the greatest of all gifts.

Teach us to be grateful, Lord, For rich is our possession— Unfathomed Grace, redeeming Love, Forgiveness for transgression, Lead us with these truths of Thine To fellowship with Thee; And may our lives to others show More Christian charity.

With these prayerful petitions the scene changes, for the tiny Babe of Bethlehem must walk the road of life that leads to Calvary. The cross is there holding our Savior who is laden with the sins of all His people. He is telling of His love and of the glorious future that awaits us.

When this promised love unfolds, All mysteries will be unveiled, And His grace and brilliance Will fill the heavens. It is only then that we will understand Why this earthly heart Could not contain The glory of it all!
